Anemone coronaria single flowering version is also called the "Florist" or " Poppy-flowered" Anemones. We divide them into two groups: Anemone coronaria 'De Caen' varieties (single flowered) and 'St. Brigid' varieties (double flowered).

Before planting you should soak the tubers for a couple of hours. They will grow in any type of soil which is well-drained. Very often Anemone coronaria is sold mixed. Even the small corms (2-3 cm) will flower!
